The Soy Story
Soy is a pure and natural material; renewable, sustainable, and completely biodegradable. Soy wax burns cooler, allowing you up to 50% longer burn time. Soy wax burns 95% cleaner than paraffin wax so is virtually soot free!
Soy is so pure that un-fragranced, you could use it to cook with. When the soy beans are pressed to remove the oil, the pulp that is left is used for cattle feed, so nothing goes to waste.
Soy wax is non-toxic and non-carcinogenic.
Our Candles:
IW Natural Candles are produced from a wax that is 100% naturally resourced, and therefore free of fossilised hydrocarbons, a major pollutant in today's environment. IW Natural Candles have excellent burning properties and will burn until there is nothing left in the containers. The natural properties of this wax allow the fragrance to radiate evenly through out the room both lit and un-lit.
The Fragrance:
We use the best quality fragrance and essential oils where appropriate in our candles. None of our fragrances are tested on animals or are of animal origin.
The Wick:
We hand prime all our own wicks to ensure they remain natural. Our wicks are pure cotton and contain no lead or fossilised hydrocarbons. The reason we prime our own... The only wicks we could find in this country or in Europe were all primed with paraffin wax because paraffin is the only wax that travels well and will go through the machinery that primes wicks.
Our fragrances range from beautiful restoring, rebalancing Rose, cooling and refreshing Melon & Cucumber, clearing and purifying Seaweed and Juniper, scrumptious Green Apple & Cinnamon, comforting Cranberry & Vanilla Pod, uplifting Sweet Lemon.
